Harry B. Soria, Jr. received the 2021 3rd Annual Jacqueline "Skylark" Rossetti Broadcasting Award for Commemorating Excellence in Broadcasting, Outstand Impacts, and Life's Works.
Skylark was one of my original mentors and the one who was directly responsible for pulling me into a 40 year+ radio career. Sky graced our world from August 8, 1954 to March 20, 2019 .

It was also the occasion for Harry B and his wife Kilohana to announce the non=profit Hawaiian Music Archives Foundation that they formed by combining their two collections and preparing them for the eventual submission to the chosen archives museum. Entertainment for the evening included Na hoa, Hookena, and Raiatea Helm. Emcees were Kimo Kahoano and Shannon Scott & Mele Apana. A great time was had by all. August 21, 2017 - As Harry B. Soria, Jr. was emceeing the 35th annual Hawaiian Slack Key Guitar Festival at the Kapiolani Park Bandstand, Kilohana Silve surprised him with a pop-up birthday party. The cake of course was Harry B.'s favorite flavor - double chocolate. In order to feed the 15 slack key artists and family, Kilohana brought 2 cakes.

Kilohana Silve and Genoa Keawe visit back stage at Genoa's show in the Marriot Waikiki Hotel in 2005. Genoa would often ask Kilohana to dance for her and share her stories of Hawaiian music and hula thriving in Paris. Harry B. Soria, Jr. and Genoa Keawe appeared together often on Territorial Airwaves, including an annual live broadcast Waikiki concert for eleven straight years.
Kilohana Silve enjoys the ho'olaulea at the Festival des Arts d'Hawaii in Paris, France in July of 2018. Harry B. Soria, Jr. and Kilohana Silve have conducted workshops in Paris through the years with Territorial Airwaves. As a result of Kilohana's efforts over the past 25 years, her Halau Hula O Manoa is thriving in Paris, Rome, Juneau, Honolulu, etc.

2018. Paris France. Territorial Airwaves was on the road again in Paris & Normandy, France, as well as Rome, Italy. We were there for 5 weeks between December 30, 2017 and February 5, 2018. Snow fell for the first time on the morning that we left to return to Hawaii. (PC: Kilohana Silve)
