Waikiki was a swinging place in the early 1960s.
When Don Ho brought “Honey’s Tavern” from Kaneohe, Waikiki would never be the same.
Hula Records recognized the seismic shift in the Waikiki entertainment scene, and made some remote live recordings at the club. Performers included Don Ho, Kui & Nani Lee, Sonny Chillingworth, Zoulou, & more.
Today, more than 50 years later, we’ll share memorable selections from this musical legacy!
