Sol K Bright - Hana Hou

Solomon (Kolomone) Kamaluhia Kekipi Ke Aliika’apuni Ku Keala Oka mahanahana Bright was born on November 9, 1909, and we lost him at the age of 83, on April 27, 1992.
After gaining popularity in Hollywood, Sol Ho’opii returned home to Honolulu, saw Sol K Bright perform and took him back to Hollywood to join his Hawaiian troupe.
Sol K Bright was just 19 years old in 1928.
He would later form Sol K Bright & his Holly-waiians in Hollywood.
The majority of their recordings were made by Victor Records in 1934.
