Dick McIntire - Hana Hou

Dixon Ka’aihue McIntire was born on April 6, 1902, in Honolulu, and we lost him on May 20, 1951.
He was only 49 years of age. Dick joined the US Navy in 1919, and ended up in California where he finished his service.
He then formed a trio in Los Angeles, and thrived.
Dick played in numerous night clubs in his career.
He recorded over 300 records, the majority for Decca Records.
On December 6, 2013, we featured some of Dick’s records, so we’ll Hana Hou!
In this program, we’ll play another hour of his Decca releases.
