Palani Vaughan - 1970

In 1970, Hula Records released an album produced by Don McDiarmid, Jr. called, Hawaiian Love Songs, featuring Palani Vaughan.
Orchestral arrangements were by Seji Hiraoka of Japan.
Frank ‘Palani’ Vaughan, Jr. was born on May 27, 1944, and we lost him, at the age of 72, on December 8, 2016.
After recording Meet Palani Vaughan & the Sunday Manoa in 1967, Palani joined the Hawaii National Guard.
Upon his return, he recorded Hawaiian Love Songs in 1970.
By 1973, Palani began writing and recording his Ia ‘Oe E Ka La series of 4 volumes to honor King Kalakaua.
