Lani McIntire - Balladeer

Lani Victor McIntire was born on December 15, 1904, and he was only 46 years of age when he passed away on June 17, 1951.
Lani’s older brother Dick was a famous steel guitarist, and his other brother, Al, was an accomplished bassist.
In previous shows, we’ve featured Lani McIntire with his big band swing sound, and his string combo.
Now we’ll feature his dance band as the 1940s began, with Lani stepping out in the role of balladeer.
Today, more than 75 years later, we’ll share memorable selections from this musical legacy!
