"Prince Kawohi" was one of Hawaii's musical ambassadors who moved to Hollywood during the 1930s Hawaiian music craze. He was a featured performer with the Harry Owens orchestra, Danny Stewart & his Aloha Boys, and Hilo Hattie. He composed numerous hapa haole tunes and recorded most of them, specializing in playful humor.
